G.I. Trucking Completing Major Expansion

G.I. Trucking Co., La Mirada, Calif., is investing more than $9.5 million to complete a major expansion of its fleet of tractors, trailers and terminal equipment for use throughout its 17-state service territory.

Included in the acquisitions are 65 new International tractors, four Freightliner straight trucks and 10 Freightliner tandem axle tractors for line haul operations, as well as 128 53-foot trailers, 10 48-foot trailers, and 176 28-foot trailers.
Other equipment additions include 41 forklifts for dock operations within company terminals. All equipment is expected to be in service by September.
