Ingersoll-Rand Buys 70% of Zexel

Ingersoll-Rand Co. has purchased a 70% interest in Tokyo-based Zexel Cold Systems, a manufacturer of transport refrigeration systems and bus air conditioning equipment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Zexel will become part of Ingersoll-Rand's Climate Control Sector which includes Thermo King.
