Love’s Travel Stops will introduce fast-fill compressed natural gas fueling capability for heavy-duty trucks at its travel stop located on Interstate 40 at exit 74 in east Amarillo, Texas. The Love’s Fast-Fill CNG station is expected to be open by the second quarter of 2014.

Perfect Equipment Inc., a wheel balance weight company, has updated its operating name to Wegmann Automotive USA Inc. The 75-year-old product brand name Perfect Equipment will remain unchanged and stay as a key member of the company’s brand portfolio.
Expect the cost of on-highway diesel to average $3.81 per gallon this year, 11 cents less than 2013’s average price. The new monthly U.S. Energy Department Short-Term Energy Outlook is calling for the price to be even less in 2015, averaging $3.72 per gallon.

In Connecticut a new law that went into affect on Dec. 31 requiring commercial motor vehicles remove snow and ice from hoods, trunks and roofs or their operators will face fines ranging from $75 to $1,250.
