Ford to Offer CNG/LPG Capability on 2014 F-150 Pickups

Ford Motor Co. says it will offer its 2014-model F-150 half-ton pickup with the ability to run on low-cost compressed natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas. The option will be available on the 3.7-liter V-6 engine with a factory-installed gaseous-fuel preparation package.

KW Exec: Natural Gas Gaining Popularity but Diesel Will Still Dominate

CORRECTED -- Kenworth Truck Co. sees a lot of promise in natural gas-powered vehicles, so it featured them last week at gatherings for dealers, customers and trade press writers at its plant in Chillicothe, Ohio. DISH Network Deploying 200 ROUSH CleanTech Propane Autogas Vans in 2013

Pay-TV provider DISH Network Corp. announced at the NTEA's 2013 Work Truck Show in Indianapolis that it will roll out 200 ROUSH CleanTech propane autogas-fueled Ford E-250 cargo vans in its fleet in 2013. DISH said its new alt-fuel vans will support its residential and commercial customer service in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
