The Florida Department of Transportation’s Motor Carrier Compliance Office has announced that beginning February 23, 2005, carriers will have new citation payment options.
According to the FDOT, carriers will be able to make payment with most major credit cards online or by a toll free telephone number 24 hours a day. These options are available for payment of Florida Commercial Motor Vehicle Citation/Permit assessments only. Payments will continue to be accepted by mail. Dial toll free to make a payment: 1-800-688-5479. Online payments can be made at www.dot.state.fl.us/mcco.
