CORRECTED -- Pegasus TransTech announced recently that Quest Global, a refrigerated carrier based in Cartersville, Ga., would increase its use of Pegasus’s Transflo scanning applications. The fleet expects to see an increase of drivers' use of mobile scanning with their smartphones or tablets.

Quest Global operates 500 tractors serving customers from the Southeast to the West Coast. It has been using Transflo Express truckstop scanning locations for a number of years. Drivers were given the option, however, of turning their paperwork in at the carrier’s office.

A recent move of Quest Global's administrative departments to a separate location prompted the company to require all driver paperwork to be scanned. The company said most drivers were already using the various Transflo scanning applications, including at truckstops, in the cab or with their mobile devices via Transflo’s mobile app that drivers download free. Company officials said drivers like the convenience of the mobile scanning app.
