TruckersU.com has rolled out a new service designed for trucking companies with 40 or fewer power units to help them get on a shipper’s “approved carrier list.”

The Freight Prospecting Method comes with a tutorial, but it also shows how to best use the included database’s searchable shipper contacts and types of freight. This is so small trucking companies don’t have to spend so much time placing “cold calls,” and encourages shippers to contact Freight Prospecting Method subscribers to request a proposal, including providing them the opportunity to quote their hauling rates, according to TruckersU.com.

The cost is $300 for the first database of three states’ lists of shippers and includes the method's tutorial.
