CTL Transportation, Mulberry, Fla., has announced that Ray Hysel, a professional tractor trailer driver and lead training instructor, is the winner of the March 2007 Bull Dog Award.
The Bull Dog Award, which is presented to acknowledge an employee's character, integrity, performance or improvement in performance, is the most prestigious honor available at CTL.
Hysel, who has been with CTL since 1986, has driven 21 years without an accident. In 2003, when CTL began offering an "in-house" CDL training program, Ray was offered and accepted the lead trainer position in the program. Through the CTL program, he was responsible for the training that produced more than 300 CDL graduates.
CTL Transportation LLC is the dominant carrier for the phosphate and fertilizer industry in Florida. CTL joined Comcar Industries in 1985, and is now plays a significant role in the national chemical transportation industry.
