D.W. Speer, chief executive officer and co-founder of PeopLease Corp., the Mount Pleasant, S.C.-based driver leasing company, will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in February.
Construction of its new 30,000-square-foot office is under way and scheduled for completion in May.
PeopLease services more than 150 client truck lines and private fleets in 32 states with corporate offices in South Carolina. PeopLease is a full-service professional employer organization providing complete payroll services, benefits, workers' compensation coverage, human resources administration, risk management, DOT compliance and loss prevention service.
PeopLease's revenues were more than $250 million last year with more than 7,500 leased drivers.
