Heartland Express, Iowa City, Iowa, announced two of its drivers have reached the feat of 2 million accident-free miles with the company.

John Stigall and Greg Brockman have driven enough miles to circumvent the globe more than 80 times each without a single preventable accident. Both were among the group of drivers that came to Heartland Express with the acquisition of Munson Transportation.
Stigall, from Havana, Ill., has been driving for Heartland Express since 1982. As a "system" driver he runs the 35 states east of Denver.
Brockman, from Fenton, Mo., started with Heartland Express in 1981. He runs out of the corporate office in Iowa City.
Stigall and Brockman are being honored during the driver appreciation event at the corporate offices this week. Each will receive a leather jacket, cap, plaque, and new decal for their truck commemorating their milestone.
