The New Mexico Senate passed a bill last week that would lower the speed limit for heavy vehicles on that state’s highways.
If the the House of Representatives approves SB338 and it becomes law, it would limit the speed limit for commercial vehicles to 65 mph from the current 75 mph on all major New Mexico highways.
