DOT: Lack of Data Argues Against Truck Size/Weight Changes

FedEx has pushed for a provision allowing longer twin trailers, 33 feet up from the current 28.

The Department of Transportation has declared that “data limitations” uncovered by its research on the impact of increasing truck size and weight limits should preclude changing “relevant laws and regulations.”
