Meritor Inc. has increased the warranty coverage for RideSentry MPA38 and MPA40 suspensions to now include damage to the slider box caused by sudden, accidental impact with a curb or similar fixed object.

The RideSentry curbing damage eligibility provision considers deformation such as bending, buckling or breakage of the trailer suspension slider box that is caused by accidental impact with a fixed object and is limited to the originally equipped trailer.

The warranty provision does not cover damage to other components or damage resulting from a collision with another vehicle, rollover or fire or if the trailer is considered to be total loss, scrapped or otherwise not salvageable.

Meritor’s warranty coverage and how to submit claims can be found on the company’s website at under the customer care tab.
