Production of Brenner Tank products is expanding to facilities operated by its parent, Wabash National, in Lafayette, Ind., the companies have announced.

By expanding production, “we can provide customers with greater access to our broad portfolio of leading-brand tank trailer products,” said Mark Weber, senior vice president and president of Wabash’s Diversified Products Group.

“Expanding Brenner’s technology, manufacturing processes and expertise to our Lafayette campus will help accelerate growth and enhance customer access in key tank markets.”

In addition, the Lafayette facility will produce aluminum and FRP tank trailers, and expand Wabash National’s truck mounted equipment offerings.

Brenner’s plant in Fond du Lac, Wis., will remain the primary source of the builder’s aluminum and stainless steel tank trailers for chemical and petroleum markets, said Wabash’s corporate communications manager, Dana Stensel.

“We’ve also been enhancing our customer support network throughout the United States to provide an even greater level of service our customers expect,” said Jim Miller, vice president of sales and marketing at Wabash National’s Walker Group, of which Brenner is a part.
