Meritor is a North American supplier of antilock braking systems for heavy duty trucks, trailers and buses.
Meritor Wabco tractor ABS is currently standard equipment at Freightliner, Kenworth, Mack, Peterbilt and Volvo. It is also available as optional equipment at all other major truck/tractor original equipment manufacturers and at most coach and specialty vehicle OEMs.
On Sept. 30, 1997, Rockwell Automotive become Meritor Automotive, an independent, stand-alone company that supplier components and systems to the automotive and trucking industries.
