ALK Associates, Princeton, N.J., has launched eMILER.com, an Internet site providing online routing, mileage, and mapping for smaller companies.
On-line customers can generate multi-stop, optimized truck routes in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico using PC*Miler 14, the company's latest database.
According to ALK, eMILER.com is designed for small fleets and logistics companies, owner-operators, company drivers, brokers, and shippers who need truck routes and distances at lower volume levels. Future upgrades of eMILER.com will incorporate new features and data, including versions of PC*Miler/Streets, a street-level routing system.
