YardMan 1, a turn-key, radio frequency identification yard management system, is designed for companies with fleet and yard/terminal operations.
The system, which includes hardware and software, monitors gated or open yards and can be operated independently or through MessageXpress’s network. Hardware includes a reader and active RFID tags that can be read at distances up to 2,000 feet. YardMan software is PC based, and can monitor any number of yards from a single location.
