Drivers traveling on Interstate 35 in Minneapolis may encounter lane and ramp closures from Nov. 8-15, announced the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The closures are due to construction work on the I-35/4th Street ramp project. The project is designed to improve traffic flow on northbound Interstate 35 and 4th Street South, says the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The left lane of northbound Interstate 35 between 4th Street Southeast and Hennepin Avenue will be closed from 5 a.m.-9 p.m.

From Nov. 9-15, there will be overnight closures from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. on the Hennepin Avenue entrance ramp to southbound Interstate 35 and to the right lanes of Interstate 35 in both directions between 4th Street South and the Johnson Street exit.
