The Tire Sentry Division of Fleet Specialties Co. is reintroducing its handheld, remote tire pressure monitor receiver/display modules, Model HH-6 and HH12.
Tire Sentry's Handheld Tire Pressure Monitoring Available For Sale
While the product was previously introduced last year, the company said it was not released for production because of the economic conditions.

The handheld receiver/display gives warnings of a low tire or a loss of pressure by remote RF signal on any vehicle with compatible tire pressure sensors by walking by the vehicles and without touching the tires. The receiver can be pointed at a tire or set of dual tires and the audible alarm will sound, while a flashing light will inform which tires are losing pressure and under-inflated.

The receiver/display operates from an internal rechargeable 9-volt battery with a recharging module included and automatically turns itself on when pointing at a tire to be checked. It can be used in most weather conditions.

Any number of vehicles within a fleet can be equipped with compatible wireless pressure sensors "electronic valve-caps," without breaking down the tires. The sensors can be installed quickly and can monitor tire pressures from 28 to 130 psi on trucks and/or trailers with four to 12 tires.
