Canada-based Latium Fleet Management Inc. has launched Latlogix, a new custom GPS monitoring system for fleet vehicles in North America.
The technology monitors vehicles in real time, providing fleets with increased driver safety, security and timely vehicle maintenance and longevity.

The new system allows fleets to integrate real-time GPS monitoring into their existing vehicle and equipment maintenance and safety programs. Latlogix consists of a web-based software and the L2 AVL GPS tracking device, a flexible communication platform that uses a combination of cellular networks in North America.

"Fleet owners can properly manage vehicle and equipment service requirements keeping the vehicle in service for as long as possible and ensure all drivers are safe in their operations," said Tony Pecorilli, founder and CEO of Latium Fleet Management.

In addition, Latlogix provides a complete operational scan of the vehicle or equipment's current operating state; tracks historical maintenance records for proper services; and provides secured and personalized driver identification access, start capability and operation of vehicles or equipment.
