FleetMentor has developed a new maintenance tool, PM Service Schedule, to help create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
. The new capability also includes service alerts based on odometer readings.
This new tool, which can be found in the Toolbox under Operations, allows fleets to build service schedules with customizable maintenance items and link schedules to multiple units with the same preventative maintenance service requirements.
Users can also update odometer readings with a built-in quick update tool and customize how far ahead to be alerted to service items. In addition, the new capability generates reports for upcoming or past due service work. The service alerts will be posted to the user's dashboard and calendar, and will be included in nightly alert e-mails.
The PM Service Schedule module is connected to the Repair and Maintenance Costs feature, so as repair records and odometer entries are added, the services schedules will automatically be updated.
