Freightliner Trucks announced the availability of the Cummins ISX Series engine as an option for the Freightliner Cascadia 125-inch-BBC product line.
The engine adds to the vehicle's overall power and fuel efficiency and is available with power ratings from 400-500 horsepower and 1,450-1,850 pounds-feet of torque.
The Cummins ISX joins Detroit Diesel's DD13, DD15, Series 60 and MBE 4000 engines as options for the Cascadia. Combined, Cummins and Freightliner have more than 700 distributors and service points across North America.
