Ancra Cargo says its new X-Treme Grip Tire Chain lineup is designed for demanding traction control situations in severe weather.

Ancra’s X-Treme Grip Tire Chains are available in v-bar, stud, and square link options for fleets operating in weather conditions such as freezing rain, ice, and snow.

V-bar tire chains have a plated silver zinc finish and meant for use in unfavorable highway conditions. Each twist-link cross-chain on these heavy-duty snow chains is outfitted with V-bar studs that bite into the ice for superior traction on frozen roads. Heavy-duty stud tire chains are designed for off-road applications such as logging and navigating treacherous terrain. Square link tire chains are coated with a protective plated silver zinc finish and are meant to be used when highway conditions consist of snow and ice.

All X-Treme Grip Tire Chains are available in a single or triple chain alternative. V-Bar and studded tire chains are 8 millimeters. The square link tire chains are 7 millimeters. Tire size requirements may vary, and repair links are available for every X-Treme Grip Tire Chain part number.

Each set of chains ships in a reusable storage container with a tensioning tool included. All triples include one chain per pail; two pails make a complete set. Tensioning cams allow for fast installation and quick adjustment. An installation guide is provided in each container.
