At the 2013 Green Fleet Conference & Expo Oct. 1-2 on Phoenix, keynote speaker Kipp Coddington will discuss how the Obama Administration’s policies will affect environmental and energy initiatives.

Coddington, who will talk on “What to Expect in President Obama’s Second Term," heads an energy and environmental law firm in Washington, D.C. — Kazmarek Mowrey Cloud Laseter LLP. The practice focuses on the Clean Air Act, fossil fuels and fleet issues.

Coddington is well-versed on alternative fuels and how policies can affect fleets' bottom lines. For example, he represented the American Automotive Leasing Association and National Association of Fleet Administrators before the U.S. Supreme Court in a case involving the scope of federal pre-emption of state fleet requirements (Engine Mfrs. Ass’n v. South Coast Air Quality Management District, 541 U.S. 246 (2004)).

The Green Fleet Conference this year for the first time also will include a Truck Track, covering topics such as natural gas, biodiesel and idle reduction.

Early-bird registration is available until Sept. 6 and provides $100 off registration. For more information go to www.greenfleetconference.com.
