Frozen Food Express Industries has tapped Wabash National Corporation to produce 350 new ArcticLite refrigerated van trailers by September.
"We're excited to continue our long-standing relationship with Wabash National and to provide our customers with the most up-to-date, state-of-the-art equipment," said Russell Stubbs, president of FFE.
This is the third big order recently for Wabash. The company announced a three-year deal with truckload carrier Swift Transportation, where Wabash will build 3,100 DuraPlate HD dry vans. In April, refrigerated carrier Prime Inc. asked the company to build 4,000 ArcticLite refrigerated van trailers over the next 34 months.
