FleetPride has purchased Panhandle Truck Parts, which has locations in Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas.
The acquisition expands FleetPride's network to 16 locations throughout Texas.
Panhandle Truck Parts has been in business since 1988. In 2002, it was purchased by Sid Harris, Debbie Shields and Lance Stark. Harris will now serve as branch manager, while Stark steps into the role of operations manager for the two locations.
"The acquisition of Panhandle Truck Parts furthers FleetPride's strategic plan to expand into well-defined markets with strong local economies," said Mike Paxton, vice president of business development and strategic planning. "Both Potter County and Lubbock County, Texas, have thriving agricultural and oilfield industries, making them attractive markets for heavy-duty fleet owners. Through this acquisition, we will strengthen our presence in Lubbock, establish our first location in Amarillo, and expand our national footprint."
