UPDATED -- Numbers released Friday by the U.S. Labor Department show 288,000 jobs were added, the most since January 2012, with the unemployment rate falling to 6.3% from 6.7% in March.

Private sector employment in the U.S. increased by 191,000 jobs from February to March, according to the March ADP National Employment Report released Wednesday.
