Chicago Clean Cities Fleets Reduce 230K Tons of GHG

The Chicago Area Clean Cities Coalition (CACC) and its member fleets helped to displace nearly 26.5 million gasoline-gallon equivalents (GGEs) of petroleum in 2016, and reduce greenhouse-gas emissions by 230,000 tons.

DOE Cuts Clean Cities, Boosts SuperTruck

U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) proposed 2017 budget would sharply cut funding to the Clean Cities program and add new funding to an initiative seeking to improve the fuel efficiency of Class 7 and Class 8 trucks.

Port of Virginia Relaunches Clean-Diesel Incentive Program

The Port of Virginia has relaunched its Green Operator Program, which provides up to $20,000 toward the purchase of clean-diesel trucks that service the port and up to $6,000 toward the purchase and installation of retrofit devices, announced Virginia Clean Cities (VCC).

Chicago Fleets Saved 25M Fuel Gallons Last Year

The commercial and government fleet members of the Chicago Area Clean Cities saved more than 25 million gallons of petroleum in 2014, which reduced fuel consumption and improved air quality, according to the group.

Frito-Lay Brings Fleet Sustainability Program to Ohio
