Heavy Duty Trucking Named Finalist for 3 ASPBE Journalism Awards
Heavy Duty Trucking magazine is a finalist for three journalism awards presented by the American Society for Business Publication Editors, nicknamed the Azbee awards, for its online and print coverage of the trucking industry.


Heavy Duty Trucking magazine iis a finalist for three journalism awards from the American Society for Business Publication Editors.
Also known as the Azbee Awards, the competition recognizes outstanding work by magazines, newsletters, and digital media in the business-to-business, trade, association and professional publication arena.
According to ASBPE, the Azbee Awards of Excellence program is “one of the most competitive there is for business-to-business, trade, association, and professional publications.”
HDT has been named a National and Regional finalist in the "Online: Single Topic Coverage by a Team" category for its coverage of the ELD mandate.
HDT has also been named a National and Regional Finalist in the "Print: Feature Series" category for its Trucking in the 21st Century series of articles.
HDT has in addition been named a regional finalist (Pacific) in the "Online: Trade Show/Conference Coverage" category for its coverage of the North American Commercial Vehicle Show.
HDT editors nominated for their work in one or more of the finalist entries are Editor in Chief Deborah Lockridge, Executive Editor David Cullen, Senior Editor Jack Roberts, Equipment Editor Jim Park, Business Contributing Editor Evan Lockridge, Technology Contributing Editor Jim Beach, and Web Editor Steven Martinez.
The National Award winners will be announced May 10 at the 2018 ASBPE National Conference & Azbee Awards Banquet in Washington D.C.
