Telematics and fleet management companies PeopleNet and TMW Systems will be combining their separate annual user conferences into a single event in 2016, the companies announced.

Both companies are under the Trimble Company umbrella and had in the past held separate events but decided to combine them, calling the new event IN.SIGHT. PeopleNet and TMW believe it will offer a broad perspective with a comprehensive view of its services to customers.

“By combining our audiences, our strong programs and the extensive partner and exhibitor networks that have been features of our individual user conferences before, both TMW and PeopleNet expect to set a new transportation industry standard for comprehensive solution presentation, customer focus and technology innovation,” says David Wangler, president of TMW Systems.

“Not only can our customers learn to increase the benefits realized from technology they already own, but they will also be treated to a new breadth of connected transportation industry solutions.”

Transportation service providers and fleet operations from across North America that make use of services from either or both Trimble companies are expected to attend IN.SIGHT, Wangler said. The event will provide opportunities for customers to learn about many technologies, while exchanging new ideas and best practices with industry peers.

IN.SIGHT will feature hundreds of educational sessions, notable speakers and networking opportunities. The joint event will be held in Nashville, Tenn., at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center from Sept. 25-28, 2016.

“The goal of this joint conference is not simply to highlight technical integrations but to build a transformative vision for connected transportation technologies that our combined approaches can offer customers,” says Brian McLaughlin, president of PeopleNet.
