Less-than-truckload company YRC announced it is getting a $700 million loan under the CARES Act – while the U.S. Treasury gets a 29.6% equity stake in the company.
YRC Allegedly Overcharged Department of Defense
YRC is being accused of overcharging for shipments it hauled for the Department of Defense and then lying to the government to cover it up. YRC calls the claims "totally without merit."
