The City of Pittsburgh is deploying telematics, route optimization, and navigation services in an effort to reduce salt spreading by 33% while maintaining the same level of road de-icing.
National Truck Driving Championships
More than 400 of the nation's best truck drivers competed in the 77th annual National Truck Driving Championships in Pittsburgh in August 2014. Jeffrey Langenhahn, a Con-way Freight truck driver based in Plover, Wis., was named grand champion. Read more about the winners here.
