Hino unveiled a hydrogen fuel-cell-electric prototype version of its Class 8 XL8 truck at the 2021 ACT Expo in Long Beach, California.
Hino's new hydrogen-fuel-cell-powered Class 8 tractor will deliver heavy-duty capability and clean emissions. It's just part of Project Z, the company's development path to zero-emissions battery-electric vehicles, ranging from Class 4 to Class 8.
Effective immediately, 2020 model-year Allison-transmission-equipped Hinos include a five-year unlimited mile transmission warranty.
Hino Trucks expanded its product lineup this past Spring with the introduction of the all-new Class 7 and Class 8 XL Series. Recently featured at the 2018 American Towman show in Baltimore, the trucks featured a fully equipped Miller Industries Century 3212 G2 medium-duty wrecker and an LCG16 Series carrier.
