There are several variables fleet managers must consider to get the most out of their operation. One of the most recent is the switch to lower viscosity oils for increased fuel economy. As the industry moves away from CJ-4 oils, CK-4 and FA-4 present new opportunities for fuel savings:
• Class 7-8 fleets using a CK-4 10W-30 save up to 1%
• Class 7-8 fleets using FA-4 10W-30 save up to 1.5%
• Class 7-8 fleets using FA-4 5W-30 save up to 2%
• Class 6 fleets using FA-4 5W-30 save up to 3%
