ArvinMeritor Inc. has signed an exclusive distribution agreement, effective immediately, with FrasLe to supply customers in Mexico with FrasLe-branded aftermarket brake lining for heavy-duty trucks, trailers and buses.

"Expanding our friction offerings in Mexico is another sign of our global market leadership and focusing on what our customers need and deserve – quality, long-lasting brake materials," said Rick Kempski, director of business development, Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA).
Initially, three FrasLe friction mixes will be offered in 18 variations, resulting in about 100 new part numbers. Fleet customers will be able to purchase bulk-loose friction materials or riveted on shoes with full brake kit hardware from their authorized ArvinMeritor distributor.
This friction material complements the existing popular Meritor MA friction lining offering.
ArvinMeritor began offering FrasLe friction materials in the United States and Canada in 1995.
