Kennesaw Transportation Inc. has joined the American Trucking Assns. to work more closely with its industry counterparts in advancing the interests of trucking.

Pat Patrick, president of the White, Ga.-based carrier said, “Kennesaw Transportation is pleased to join ATA to help play a role in finding solutions to challenges facing the trucking industry.”
Kennesaw Transportation is a long-distance truckload carrier transporting general commodities throughout the country with main service areas on the West Coast (Arizona, California, Nevada), in the Southeast (Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia) and from points in Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Texas and Illinois. The company operates 185 tractors and 310 trailers.
Primary commodities handled by Kennesaw Transportation include food products, fresh produce, floor covering & flooring, expedited freight, and other dry and refrigerated commodities. The company’s logistics arm, established in 2003, allows wider geographic coverage through satellite stations that provide reefer and dry van services out of California, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio and Texas.
ATA, the national trade association for the trucking industry, is a federation of affiliated state trucking associations, conferences and organizations that includes more than 37,000 motor carrier members representing every type and class of motor carrier in the country.
