Mack Trucks Inc. has appointed three powertrain sales managers to provide specialized technical assistance with powertrain issues relating to Mack vehicles.

The new managers will develop and manage Mack’s powertrain sales activities with dealers, field sales personnel and major accounts, and will also support trade and trucking industry groups with technical support and application assistance.
Scott Barraclough will be responsible for Mack’s Northeast and Southeast regions, based in Allentown, Pa. Barraclough has extensive experience in powertrain issues gained while working at Mack Powertrain Division in Hagerstown, Md., mostly recently as a customer satisfaction engineer.
Joe Scarnecchia will be responsible for the Central and Southwest regions. Scarnecchia most recently served as a Mack district service manager in Ohio, and will continue to be based in Niles, Ohio.
Steven de Sousa will be responsible for Canada, based in Mississauga, Ontario. De Sousa most recently served as the Eastern region fleet service manager for Volvo Trucks Canada.
The three new sales managers report to David McKenna, Mack’s product marketing manager for engines, transmissions and axles, and assumed their new responsibilities in February.
