SkyBitz Inc., Dulles, Va., announced Tuesday it has signed seven new fleets for its satellite-based Global Locating System.

The fleets are Spirit Truck Lines Inc., Russell Transport Inc., Bicentennial Trucking Co. Inc., Lessors Inc., Air Ground Xpress, L&D Transportation and TKX Logistics.
Spirit Truck Lines Inc., San Juan, Texas, transports both dry and refrigerated freight throughout the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Spirit Truck Lines Inc. will outfit its entire fleet of 400 trailers with SkyBitz’s trailer tracking technology.
Other recently signed SkyBitz customers include Bicentennial Trucking Co. Inc. and Russell Transport Inc. both located in Texas, and Minnesota-based Lessors Inc. All have implemented GLS throughout their fleets to provide constant visibility of trailers moving throughout North America, especially in Mexico.
Ohio-based, TKX Logistics and Tennessee-based L& D Transportation chose SkyBitz to enhance on-time delivery, customer and operational efficiencies. Airfreight cartage company, Air Ground Xpress, installed SkyBitz’s trailer tracking solution to monitor time-sensitive loads to and from airports across Western Pennsylvania.
