Great Dane Trailers said NHRA driver Bob Vandergriff Jr. and his racing team is making a pit stop at its Brazil, Ind. manufacturing plant today.

Vandergriff will stop by the Great Dane plant with his Haldex Top Fuel Dragster en route to the U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis Raceway Park, where he will compete for part of a $2-million dollar purse over the Labor Day weekend.
The visit was coordinated as an employee incentive and as a tribute to Haldex, the primary supplier of trailer brake components for Great Dane plants.
Vandergriff, who was the 1994 NHRA Rookie of the Year, will accompany his 8,000-horsepower dragster to the Great Dane plant to meet and greet employees this morning. The car, currently exhibiting Hedman Hedders graphics, will also sport Great Dane Trailers logos throughout the U.S. Nationals event, drag racing's oldest and most celebrated competition.
