Data Burst Technologies, Woodland Park, Colo., announced that its iTRAK Internet vehicle tracking system has been certified
for use with the nationwide AT&T Wireless GSM/GPRS wireless data network.
The standard iTRAK web-appliance is a vehicle-mounted device, configured to transmit real-time position data to the NavView server. Vehicles can be tracked on maps at www.navview.com, where NavView displays vehicle positions and tracks location, speed and other information. NavView is subscriber-based and can be accessed from any PC using a standard browser.
AT&T Wireless has been acquired by Cingular Wireless. Its GSM/GPRS is a third-generation digital cellular network. AT&T
