MicroAnalytics Inc., Arlington, Va., has released version 3.0 of TruckStops Routing & Scheduling Software.

The new version offers enhanced itinerary generating capabilities and the ability to output route data via ODBC.
ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) is a Microsoft-supported open standard programming interface for accessing various databases, including Access, dBase, DB2, Excel and Text. Trucktop 3.0’s new ODBC functionality enables users to output route information as well as bring data into the TruckStops. Users can bypass the data export process and save data out to another ODBC compliant database quickly and easily.
The TruckStop 3.0 interface to Microsoft's MapPoint has been enhanced to enable turn-by-turn driving directions, turn-by-turn maps and street-level distance calculations from within the TruckStops user interface. Maps and driving directions can be printed from within the TruckStops interface or emailed to other parties.
