Wabash National Corp., Lafayette, Ind., announced the production of its 200,000th DuraPlate trailer this month.

To commemorate this milestone, the company recognized Schneider National Inc., a 17-year partner of Wabash National, for its contributions toward the achievement.
Schneider National has utilized the DuraPlate trailer as standard fleet equipment since 1997.
"The DuraPlate trailer has withstood the test of time," said Bill Greubel, Wabash National president and chief executive officer. "Having over 200,000 DuraPlate trailers on the road further demonstrates the unsurpassed value and performance of the DuraPlate product.
"By working closely with our partners, Wabash National continues to develop innovative trailer technologies that deliver a low total cost of ownership," Greubel added. "We appreciate the ongoing support of Schneider National and their contributions toward this significant achievement."
Introduced in 1996, the DuraPlate dry van trailer features a composite panel, which consists of steel skins bonded to a high-density plastic core.
