The International Truck Show, scheduled Sept. 23, 24 and 25, has returned to Southern California at the Anaheim Convention Center across from Disneyland.

The California Trucking Assn. (CTA) invented the ITS in 1961 and created a model copied nationwide.
And now it’s back in Anaheim, only this time with plenty of parking for big rigs.
CTA’s partnership with the Disney Resorts and the September show dates enables truck parking across the street from the Convention Center. It’s an easy walk and shuttles will also be available. CTA is also working with its decorator for additional nearby parking for tractor-trailers.
Joel D. Anderson, chief executive officer and even organizer for the CTA, said this year’s show is exhibitor friendly.
"Many of the ITS exhibitors are also dues paying members of the California Trucking Assn.," he said. "The benefit of this is that we go overboard in making sure you are treated with courtesy and respect in every aspect of the show. This respect and responsiveness includes interaction with the decorator, the convention center, the housing facilities and the ITS staff."
The 2004 ITS will be the 21st Century trucking trade show, Anderson said. "We have returned to California to capture the magic of marketing, innovation and imagineering."
Features that make ITS unique is its proximity to the Disney resorts; its location within the newly remodeled and expanded Anaheim Convention Center; direct management by the world’s second-largest trucking trade association; and its location at the center of the world’s largest truck-based trading economy. The 2004 International Trucking Show provides a number of high visibility, high impact sponsorships. Companies can brand the lanyard, the show badge holders, the electronic retrieval cards, the plasma screens, entertainment areas, and shuttles. Contact Kimberly A. Read at (916) 373-3558 for details.
ITS has partnered with several area hotels for lodging. Visit www.intltruckshow.com to book accommodations.
CTA’s live floor plan is also available at the website.
