The spotlight might be on shiny new trucks at this week's 2003 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., but one lucky truck driver will be riding a shiny new Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the show, courtesy of Kenworth Truck Co.

The winner of the Kenworth Custom Chrome Sweepstakes will be announced at 11:30 a.m. this Thursday at the Kenworth show booth (No. 3410). The sweepstakes winner will receive a new 2003 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle with a retail value of about $20,000. The motorcycle is powered by a counterbalanced Twin Cam 88B engine and includes over/under dual exhausts.
"The winner was selected at a random drawing performed by an independent judging organization, and the lucky driver will be present at the Mid-America Trucking Show," said Steve Gilligan, Kenworth general marketing manager.
Anyone who purchased a new stock or special order Kenworth W900, T600 or T800 model with a 72-inch AeroCab or 86-inch Studio AeroCab automatically had their name entered once in the sweepstakes for each eligible truck. Purchases had to be made between Nov. 15, 2002, and Jan. 31, 2003, for delivery by March 1, 2003.
Kenworth Truck Co., a division of Paccar Inc., is a leading manufacturer of heavy and medium duty trucks. Kenworth's Internet home page is at www.kenworth.com.
