Drivers from the Northeast will test their driving skills and raise money for charity at the Fifth Annual Northeast Professional Truck Drivers Charity Challenge Sunday, Sept. 16.

Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The roadeo will be held at the Devens Commerce Center in Devens, Mass., at Exit 37B off Route 2. Festivities will include a truck driving competition, truck display, refreshments, non-CDL truck driving challenge, kid's games and a raffle. Sign-in is at 7:30 a.m.
Trophies will be awarded for the top five fund raisers; first, second and third place in each class; team trophy; pre-trip inspection; father/son high score; and retired driver.
The event is being sponsored by the Massachusetts Professional Truck Drivers Assn., the Maine Professional Drivers Assn., Champions Council of New York, New Hampshire Professional Drivers Assn., and Connecticut Professional Drivers Assn.
