The Utah Highway Patrol is going to be keeping a close eye out for speeders on the newly rebuilt Interstate 15 in the Salt Lake City area.
As of today, all five lanes in each direction will open along the entire 17-mile reconstruction zone.
The highway patrol will shift most of its troopers in the Salt Lake Valley to I-15 from the west side of I-215. The speed limit on the new highway will be 65 mph.
