The Military Traffic Management Command recently honored 11 companies that provide military transportation services with its 2000 Quality Awards.

All States Moving & Storage was cited for its commitment to timely service and the open lines of communication maintained with customers.
Boyle Transportation was named for its part in the White House Communications Agency missions, which saved the government $1.3 million.
Landstar Ranger was honored for its record movement of Trident 1 C4 second-stage rocket motors, which saved taxpayers $840,000. Landstar was also a key transporter in the movement of former President Bill Clinton’s papers to the future site of his Presidential library in Little Rock, Ark.
Roadway Express was cited for "superlative transportation service" of LTL freight to Fort Hood, Texas, since 1975. MTMC said Fort Hood freight shipments get to their destination within two days with a 100 percent on-time guarantee delivery.
Studdard Moving & Storage was honored for its comprehensive training program that "addresses every aspect of customer service," including proper packing and loading.
Emery Worldwide was cited for the movement of more than 14,000 shipments for the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia’s Medical Prime Vendors. Emery’s commitment, MTMC said, has led to the systemic improvement of contract standards.
Other recipients were American Presidents Line, Matson Navigation Co., R&B Falcon, Scheduled Airline Ticketing Office, and Zust Ambrosetti.
