The chief staff executive of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Assn. since 1979 announced he plans to step down next year.
According to the SC&RA Newsletter, N. Eugene Brymer, executive vice president, will step down effective Dec. 31, 2002. He is giving 22 months notice so the association has plenty of time to get a successor and ensure a smooth transition.
Under Brymer's direction, the association has grown from 400 to 1,100 members, with an annual budget that has increased from $400,000 to $2.9 million.
