USFreightways Corp. announced the appointment of Mark Martin as President of its truckload subsidiary USF Glen Moore.
He replaces Dave McGowan, who has retired.
Samuel K. Skinner, chairman, president and CEO of USFreightways, also announced that the truckload unit would be joining the company's LTL operations as part of the USFreightways Regional Carrier Group under the direction of Bob Fasso.
Martin's career in the truckload industry spans more than 20 years. He has been part of the Werner Enterprises management team for more than 11 years, most recently as executive vice president. Mark is a graduate of Indiana University.
