The U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics will hold a series of half-day sessions in four cities to review financial reporting requirements.

Federal regulation currently requires all for-hire carriers with revenues of $3 million or more to file annual reports of their financial and operating statistics. Carriers with at least $10 million annual revenue must file quarterly.
The sessions will review filing requirements, how the data is reported and used, how companies can get annual and quarterly reports, and how historical data can be purchased.
The schedule is as follows: Dec. 1, Washington, D.C.; Dec. 4, Chicago; Dec. 6, Dallas; Dec. 8, Los Angeles.
